ETC 2006 Home :: Chairman's Message

2005 was an exciting year of growth in the Nation, 2006 is turning out to be another growth year. Technologies that have been simmering in the educational store houses of Knowledge are beginning to bear fruit and Emerge in Commercial applications, it is important as engineers and business leaders that we address the new directions of technology and the evolving markets. The Emerging Technology Conference 2006 will have one day of informative talks on Friday September 15th. This year we will focus on Digital Rights Management, UPnP, DLNA, Wireless USB (WiMax), Broadband Wireless Access, Dependable Networks, Digital Video Delivery over IP, 3G/4G Systems, and Mobility. This is a great chance to bring together great minds from Industry and the Educators to collaborate on the future of 2007. On Friday evening, we have organized a two hour networking reception sponsored by companies and universities within the region, this is a great chance to network and share ideas in a less than formal setting thus increasing the chance for free flowing ideas and innovation.
